Pamela St. John (born February 2, 1950) is an American composer of classical music.[1] She studied at Indiana at Bloomington and has studied under Robert Ward. She has served as President of the North Carolina Composers' Alliance. Her work Maithuna Sextet, commissioned by the North Carolina Music Teachers' Association, was performed by the Ciompi Quartet at Duke University; Forest Spirit Suite, also performed by Ciompi, includes the folk instruments didgeridoo and rainstick.

St. John founded the concert series ComposerWorks in 1985 at the ArtsCenter in Carrboro, North Carolina. She directed it for 9 years after which it has been coordinated by Barbara Gallagher in Wilmington.

St. John is married to Charles Mosher, and their three sons were born and raised in Durham and Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
