AboutPartapur is second largest town after Banswara in Banswara district which is a part of wagad area in Rajasthan. It is also fastest growing town in the southern Rajasthan after Sagwara in Dungarpur. Wagari is the local dialect of people staying in Partapur and surrounding areas. The partapur has now turned into a municipality after merger of nearby villages like Garhi,Nawagoun, Dhani, Bedwa, Navapadar, Kheran ka Parda, Dadooka, Semaliya, etc. There are many Hindu Temple in which the main temple of Partapur is Siddhi Vinayak Ganesh temple on Bus stand (Purneshwar, Bhagoreshwar महाकाल, LakshmiNarayan), four Jain Temples and four Mosques.
