In that game, he gave up eight goals, the second most of any goalie who played only one game. Only Ron Loustel, who played in one game for the Winnipeg Jets in the same season, allowed more in his only game; Loustel allowed 10 goals in his only NHL start. As a youth, Pageau played in the 1972 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Gatineau.[1] See also
