Peter Nicholson (born 1946) is an Australian political cartoonist, caricaturist and sculptor, and a four-time winner of the Walkley Award for Journalism, with work published in The Age, The Australian, The Australian Financial Review, and the Nation Review newspapers. Nicholson has also produced animated political cartoons for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, the TV series Fast Forward and was involved in the Rubbery Figures television series. "Avenue of Prime Ministers" in the Botanical Gardens in BallaratNicholson created the busts of Malcolm Fraser, Bob Hawke, Paul Keating, John Howard, Kevin Rudd and Julia Gillard which appear in the Prime Ministers Avenue in the Ballarat Botanical Gardens.[1][2] See also
