Pour la Patrie is a futuristic roman à clef by Jules-Paul Tardivel published in Montreal in 1895.^[1] Written from an ultramontane Catholic point of view and featuring miracles, it describes the overthrow of a satanic plot in government and the establishment of a separatist Quebec under the name New France.

The book is set in a then-future 20th century, anticipating things like the fax-machine and biological warfare.

It can be seen as an attack on John A. Macdonald and the centralizing party in Ottawa.

An English translation, For My Country, was published in 1975.^[1]
