He is also third cousin of Sophie, Hereditary Princess of Liechtenstein. He is a fifth cousin of Duke Friedrich of Württemberg. He is a 6th cousin of Prince Amedeo of Belgium, Archduke of Austria-Este and Ferdinand Zvonimir von Habsburg. He stands to become pretender to the Saxon throne after his father.
