Demographics{{As of|2001}} India census,[1] Rampura is a Block area of District Jalaun, situated approximately 2.5 km away to river Pahuj(has good drainage in each season). Rampura covers approx 90 km2 region and had a population of 20,614. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Rampura has an average literacy rate of 57%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 68%, and female literacy is 45%. In Rampura, 17% of the population is under 6 years of age.
