The facility is owned and operated by Moreton Bay Regional Council,[1] following the amalgamation of the Redcliffe City Council. FacilitiesThe airport resides at an elevation of {{convert|7|ft|0|abbr=on}} above sea level and has one runway designated 07/25 which measures {{convert|853|x|18|m|0|abbr=on}}.[1] It is equipped with pilot activated low intensity runway lighting for night operations and the aerodrome also has refueling facilities. There is no control tower and pilots must co-ordinate aircraft movements using a Common Traffic Advisory Frequency (CTAF).[1] The Redcliffe Aero Club is based at the airport and provides pilot training, aircraft hire and charter services.
