Respect is the fourth studio album released by Shaquille O'Neal. It was released on September 15, 1998 for A&M Records and featured production from Clark Kent and DJ Quik. Although Respect peaked at #58 on the Billboard 200, it made #8 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums - O'Neal's highest-charting long player on that chart.{{citation needed|date=December 2012}}

The album had 19 tracks, that Vibe said all "straddle the line between mediocre and unlistenable"[2] The album sold 104,000 units.[3] O'Neal's Los Angeles Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant performs at the start of the track "3 X's Dope", though his name was not listed on the credits.[4]
