Sir Richard Hugh Turton Gozney {{postnominals|country=GBR|KCMG|CVO|KStJ}} (born 21 July 1951) is a British career diplomat and, since 27 May 2016, the Lieutenant Governor of the Isle of Man.[1] He was Governor and Commander in Chief of Bermuda from 12 December 2007[2] to 18 May 2012.

Background and education

The son of Elizabeth Margaret Lilian Gardiner and Thomas Leonard Gozney, he was educated at Magdalen College School, Oxford, and St Edmund Hall, Oxford. He took a BA (Hons) degree in Geology in 1973. In 1970, between school and the university, he briefly taught at a school in Kenya. {{citation needed|date=October 2013}}

He married Diana Edwina Baird on 24 April 1982 and has two sons; James and Alexander.
