FestivalsThe most famous festival of R. S. Mangalam is Throvpathi Amman Temple festival. It is conducted by 18 villages. The festival is celebrated for more than 18 days. The highlight of the festival is Beman makeup (veemesam): the village people are made up like Bemen Throupathi round around{{Clarify|date=March 2016}} their village and then go to the temple{{Clarify|reason=who or what is 'bemen throupathi'|date=February 2015}}.
