At the end of 2003 he moved to {{ct|ALM|2004}} before riding for {{ct|COF|2008}}. Dumoulin left {{ct|COF|2012|nolink=yes}} at the end of the 2012 season, after five seasons with the team, and signed an initial two-year contract with {{ct|ALM|2013}} for the 2013 and 2014 seasons.[1] He has remained with {{ct|ALM|nolink=yes}} since then.[2] Amateur careerDumoulin rode as an amateur for the TCCT[3] (Tonic cyclo club of Ternay). He won the national youth championship in 1996, then the éspoir (young professional) Paris–Tours and Paris-Auxerre in 2001. He dropped out of the 2004 Tour de France when he crashed after hitting a dog. Recovery took him four months and he did not race for the rest of the season.
