It runs from the Alberta border where it becomes Highway 13 to intersection of Circle Drive and 22nd Street in Saskatoon. It is approximately {{Convert|250|km|mi|abbr=on}} long. Prior to 1976, Highway 14 ran the width of the province, continuing east from Saskatoon to the Manitoba border where it tranistioned to PTH 4. In 1970, the portion of Highway 14 east of Saskatoon was made part of the Yellowhead Highway along with the section of Highway 5 running west of Saskatoon. Six years later, in 1976, these two sections were re-designated as Highway 16 so that the Yellowhead Highway would carry one number through the four Western provinces (Manitoba would follow suit the next year, redesignating PTH 4 to PTH 16). Though Highway 14 is one of the three major highways leading from Saskatoon to Alberta, it is less used than Highway 7 or Highway 16 as the other highways provide direct access to Calgary and Edmonton respectively. Major communities that Highway 14 passes through are Macklin, Unity, Wilke, Biggar, Asquith, and Saskatoon.[1] Photo galleryMajor intersectionsFrom west to east:[2] {{SKinttop|length_ref=[3]}}{{Jctplace|county_special=Eye Hill No. 382 |cspan=5 |location=none |km=0.0 |place=Alberta border Continues as {{Jct|state=AB|Hwy|13|dir1=west|city1=Provost|city2=Camrose}} }}{{SKint |location=none |km=3.6 |road={{Jct|state=SK|Hwy|17|dir1=north|city1=Lloydminster}} |notes= }}{{SKint |location=Macklin |km=5.2 |road={{Jct|state=SK|Hwy|31|dir1=south|city1=Kerrobert}} |notes= }}{{SKint |location=Evesham |km=13.6 |road=road |notes=Passes by Evesham }}{{SKint |location=none |km=18.5 |road=Senlac Access Road |notes= }}{{SKint |county_special=Senlac No. 411{{efn|name=north|North of Hwy 14}} Grass Lake No. 381{{efn|name=south|South of Hwy 14}} |cspan=2 |location=none |km=27.0 |road={{jct|state=SK|Mun|680|dir1=south|city1=Denzil}} |notes= }}{{SKint |location=none |type=concur |km=38.5 |road={{jct|state=SK|Mun|675|dir1=north|city1=Neilburg}} |notes=West end of Hwy 675 concurrency }}{{SKint |county_special=Round Valley No. 410 |cspan=2 |location=none |type=concur |km=46.8 |road={{jct|state=SK|Mun|675|dir1=south|city1=Luseland}} |notes=East end of Hwy 675 concurrency }}{{SKint |location=Unity |km=62.8 |road={{jct|state=SK|Hwy|21|city1=Cut Knife|city2=Maidstone|city3=Kerrobert|city4=Kindersley}} |notes= }}{{SKint |county_special=Buffalo No. 409{{efn|name=north}} Tramping Lake No. 380{{efn|name=south}} |location=none |km=84.8 |road={{jct|state=SK|Hwy|374|dir1=south|city1=Scott}} |notes= }}{{SKint |county_special=Buffalo No. 409{{efn|name=north}} Reford No. 379{{efn|name=south}} |location=Wilkie |km=92.9 |road={{jct|state=SK|Hwy|29|dir1=north|city1=The Battlefords}} |notes=Hwy 14 branches south }}{{SKint |county_special=Reford No 379 |cspan=2 |location=none |km=103.7 |road={{jct|state=SK|Mun|657|dir1=south|city1=Handel}} |notes= }}{{SKint |location=Landis |type=concur |km=124.3 |road={{jct|state=SK|Mun|656|dir1=south|city1=Leney|city2=Harris}} |notes=West end of Hwy 656 concurrency }}{{SKint |county_special=Rosemount No. 378 |location=none |type=concur |km=125.9 |road={{jct|state=SK|Mun|656|dir1=east|city1=Cando}} |notes=East end of Hwy 656 concurrency }}{{SKint |county_special=Biggar No. 347 |cspan=2 |location=Biggar |lspan=2 |type=concur |km=159.8 |road={{jct|state=SK|Hwy|4|dir1=south|Hwy|51|to2=yes|city1=Rosetown|city2=Kerrobert|city3=Swift Current}} |notes=West end of Hwy 4 concurrency }}{{SKint |km=160.8 |type=concur |road={{jct|state=SK|Hwy|4|dir1=north|city1=The Battlefords|road=Main Street}} |notes=East end of Hwy 4 concurrency }}{{SKint |county_special=Perdue No. 346 |cspan=2 |location=Perdue |type=concur |km=191.0 |road={{jct|state=SK|Mun|655|dir1=south|city1=Leney|city2=Harris}} |notes=West end of Hwy 655 concurrency }}{{SKint |location=none |type=concur |km=194.0 |road={{jct|state=SK|Mun|655|dir1=north|city1=Arelee}} |notes=East end of Hwy 655 concurrency }}{{SKint |county_special=↑ / ↓ |location=none |km=210.7 |road={{jct|state=SK|Hwy|376|dir1=north|city1=Maymont}} |notes= }}{{SKint |county_special=Vanscoy No. 345 |cspan=3 |location=Asquith |km=215.6 |road={{jct|state=SK|Mun|673|dir1=south|city1=Delisle}} |notes= }}{{SKint |location=none |type=concur |km=223.7 |road={{jct|state=SK|Mun|672|dir1=north}} |notes=West end of Hwy 672 concurrency }}{{SKint |location=none |type=concur |km=231.8 |road={{jct|state=SK|Mun|672|dir1=south|city1=Grandora|city2=Vanscoy}} |notes=East end of Hwy 672 concurrency }}{{Jctco |county_special=Corman Park No. 344 }}{{SKint |indep_city=Saskatoon |lspan=4 |type=concur |km=246.7 |road={{jct|state=SK|Hwy|7|dir1=west|city1=Rosetown|location2=Calgary}} {{jctname|state=SK|Mun|684|dir1=north|name1=Neault Road|city1=Dalmeny}} |notes=West end of Hwy 7 concurrency; becomes 22nd Street W }}{{SKint |km=249.8 |type=concur |road={{Jct|state=SK|Hwy|Circle|extra=airport|name1={{Jct|state=SK|Hwy|11|Hwy|16|noshield1=yes|noshield2=yes}}|city1=Prince Albert|city2=The Battlefords|city3=Regina|city4=Yorkton}} |notes=Hwy 7 / Hwy 14 eastern terminus[4] Access to Saskatoon International Airport }}{{Jctint |km=253.2 |mspan=2 |type=closed |road= Idylwyld Drive to {{Jct|state=SK|Hwy|11|Hwy|16|noshield1=yes|noshield2=yes}} {{Jctname|state=SK|Hwy|5|dir1=east|to1=yes|name1=23rd Street E|city1=Humboldt}} |notes=Former Hwy 7 / Hwy 14 eastern terminus }}{{Jctgap |text=Continues as 22nd Street E to City Centre }}{{Jctbtm|keys=closed,concur}} Footnotes{{notelist}}References1. ^Saskatchewan Official Road Map (Map) (2015/2016 ed.).
