Shahrivar ({{lang-fa|شهریور}}, {{IPA-fa|ʃæhɾiːˈvæɾ}}[1]) is the sixth month of the Solar Hijri calendar, the official calendar of Iran and Afghanistan.[1] Shahrivar has thirty-one days.[1] It begins in August and ends in September by the Gregorian calendar{{Citation needed|date=September 2014}}. Shahrivar is the third and final month of summer. It is followed by Mehr.[1] Events
