Shatterfist is the name of two DC Comics supervillains. Publication historyThe first Shatterfist first appears in Justice League of America #234 and was created by Gerry Conway and Chuck Patton. He first appeared in Justice League of America #234 (January 1985). Years later, he resurfaced as part of Overmaster's new Cadre, but was ultimately slain by Ice. He appears as part of a group of villains wishing to avoid capture in the Salvation Run limited series. He alongside his fellow Cadre members Black Mass, Crowbar, and Fastball are defeated by Superman and Batman.
