}} Sheikh Faydh Mosque was an ancient{{citation needed|date=September 2018}} Sunni mosque in Mashhad, Iran, one of the main Shi'ite religious places. The demolition orders came from Ayatollah Khamenei personally{{citation needed|date=September 2018}}, the present spiritual leader of Iran.
