It resides on periphery of Varanasi city, surrounded by Lahartara, Manduadih. DemographicsAs of the 2001 Census of India,[1] Shivdaspur had a population of 11,432. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Shivdaspur has an average literacy rate of 59%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 68%, and female literacy is 48%. In Shivdaspur, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
