}}Sir Salimullah Medical College (SSMC) ({{lang-bn|স্যার সলিমুল্লাহ মেডিকেল কলেজ}}) is a state-supported medical college in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Founded in 1875 as Dhaka Medical School, it was renamed in 1962 in honor of Khwaja Salimullah (1871-1915), a Bengali aristocrat, politician, and patron of education.[1] The school includes Mitford Hospital, one of the oldest hospitals in Bangladesh.[2]
