It was founded by the Khushhali Ram Bohra as on 18 April 1790. He was deewan of the King of Pink City Sawai Man Singh. It was mainly famous for his temples. Shrimadhopur Wheat market is the biggest wheat market in Sikar district. Shrimadhopur Government school is one of the bigges school of the sikar district. It is one of the six tehsils of the district. Dedicated Delhi-Mumbai Freight Corridor is passing through this city. This city is chosen for the development of crossing station on this route (i.e. New Shrimadhopur DFC Station). This newly developed railway station has been launched as on 15 August 2018 on First Inaugural Run of Freight Train on Western Dedicated Freight Corridor by Indian Railway. [2][3] Mr. Khushaali Ram Bohra was the founder of Shri Madhopur. He was Deewan of King Sawai Man Singh of Pink City (former name of the Kingdom "Amer"). Mr. Khushaali Ram Bohra had named this town after the name of King Swai Madho Singh. The picture of Mr. Khushaali Ram Bohra is also attached in bottom section.
