It has over 1,000 students in grades 9-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 13 to 1[2]. It is the newest of four high schools within the New Castle County Vocational-Technical School District, which includes Delcastle Technical High School near Wilmington, Howard High School of Technology in Wilmington, and Hodgson Vo-Tech High School in Glasgow. School openingAs the construction of its formal campus was being completed, St. Georges Technical High School opened its doors to ninth graders in August 2006 at the Marshallton Building at Delcastle Technical High School. The formal campus opened in November 2006.
