It has many parks with walking tracks, waterfalls and bike tracks{{Citation needed|date=February 2007}}. St Peter's Collegiate Girls' School is the only school in Stonyfell. The historic Stonyfell Winery, founded by Henry Clark and Joseph Crompton, taken over by quarry operator Henry Dunstan, then H. M. Martin and Son, is one of Australia's oldest. There is also a quarry that has been working since the late 19th century. See also
