Surp Marineh was the most notable church in whole Tarawn ({{lang-hy|Տարոն}}) region of Historical Armenia, and was known as "Katoghike" ({{lang-hy|Կաթողիկէ}} meaning Cathedral). Currently it is in a ruinous state and only parts of the outer walls still stand.[1][2] References1. ^RoadtoArmenia.com - Return to Moush {{Armenian Churches}}{{OrientalOrthodox-church-stub}}{{turkey-church-stub}}2. ^Harry Finnis Blosse Lynch "Armenia, Travels and Studies.
