Surxondaryo River, also Surkhandarya River, Surxon River, Surkhan River, Surkhan Darya is a primary right tributary of the Amu Darya River in Uzbekistan.[1] Length: {{convert|175|km|mi|abbr=on}}, basin: {{convert|13500|km2|sqmi|abbr=on}}.{{cn|date=January 2019}}

It gives the name to the Surxondaryo Province.

Flora and fauna

The natural habitat in area of the Surxondaryo River consists of tugai and reed forests, where the Caspian tiger occurred and abundant of deer and wild boar.[2]
