As of the 2010 census, the population of Symsonia was 615.[2] GeographyThe Symsonia CDP has a total area of {{convert|4.0|sqkm|order=flip}}, of which {{convert|0.02|sqkm|order=flip|2}}, or {{convert|0.02|sqkm|order=flip|2}}, or 0.56%, is water.[2] The community is located at the intersection of Kentucky Highways 131 and 348. The intersection contains the community's only four-way stop and only flashing red light. It lies at an elevation of {{convert|407|ft|m|0}} above sea level and is between the East and West Forks of the Clarks River, a major tributary of the Tennessee River.
