Taplejung District ({{lang-ne|ताप्लेजुङ जिल्ला}} {{Audio|Taplejung.ogg|Listen}} is the Mountain district out of 14 districts of Kirat State of eastern Nepal. The district covers {{convert|3646|km2|sqmi|0|abbr=on}}. The 2011 census counted 127,461 population. Taplejung is the district headquarters
