Tappuah is the Hebrew word for "apple" and also a biblical name with several meanings: - Taffuh, a town on the West Bank 4 miles west of Hebron. This is the suggested location for the ancient town mentioned in 2 Kings 15:16, and named in the Septuagint as 'Tappuah'
