The show was aired on Nova Television. Temptation Island was produced by Nova Television and SIA Advertising. It was one of the two reality (the other was Extreme Makeover), that the television was airing in the autumn, instead of Big Brother 4, which started in 2008. Temptation Island was competing with bTV's second season of Expedition Robinson and wasn't very successful in ratings. A second season wasn't expected. Pairs
