Tetrachloro-m-xylene (tetrachlorometaxylene, or TCMX) is a chlorinated derivative of m-xylene in which the four aromatic hydrogen atoms are replaced by chlorine.

TCMX is used as an internal standard in the analysis of organochlorides, particularly organochloride pesticides.^[1]
