Thabit ibn Qais was a Sahaba, a first generation Muslim, someone who was converted by Muhammad himself. He played a prominent role in the meeting at the Saqifah.[1] Two alternative accounts of his death exist. The more credible one attributes it to falling in a battlefield in Najd during the Rashidun Caliphate period.
