Tourists can purchase Travelcards to take the Tube, bus, or overground trains through designated zones.[12] The Transport for London website provides maps, information on line closures, and a "Plan a journey" feature in which one can enter a location and a destination to determine which buses, Tube stations, and walking directions are necessary for a trip.[13] References1. ^{{Cite book |url=http://www.london.gov.uk/sites/default/files/wp53.pdf |title=Tourism in London |author=Simon Kyte |publisher=Greater London Authority |page=11 |date=May 2012 |accessdate=10 March 2013 |isbn=978-1-84781-496-8 |deadurl=yes |archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20130228094422/http://www.london.gov.uk/sites/default/files/wp53.pdf |archivedate=28 February 2013 |df= }} 2. ^{{Cite web|url=https://www.statista.com/statistics/487505/nights-spent-by-domestic-visitors-london-united-kingdom/|title=Domestic overnight stays in London 2008-2017 {{!}} UK Statistic|website=Statista|language=en|access-date=2019-03-28}} 3. ^{{Cite web|url=https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:DgM2p3DVFLIJ:https://www.visitbritain.org/sites/default/files/vb-corporate/Documents-Library/documents/England-documents/london_2015.pdf+&cd=11&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk&client=firefox-b-d|title=London and Domestic Tourism Report 2015|last=|first=|date=|website=https://files.londonandpartners.com/l-and-p/assets/our-insight-london-tourism-review-2014-15.pdf|archive-url=|archive-date=|dead-url=|access-date=}} 4. ^{{Cite web|url=https://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/record-year-as-19m-tourists-visit-london-a3542271.html|title=Record Year as 19 million tourists visit London|date=May 2017|publisher=London Evening Standard|accessdate=14 July 2017}} 5. ^http://files.londonandpartners.com/l-and-p/assets/london_tourism_vision_aug_2017.pdf 6. ^https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-london-43417939 7. ^https://www.visitlondon.com/things-to-do/openspace/best-parks-in-london 8. ^http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/rel/ott/travel-trends/2013/sty.html 9. ^{{cite book |last1=Inkson |first1=Clare |last2=Minnaert |first2=Lynn |title=Tourism Management: an introduction |publisher=Sage |isbn=978-1-84860-869-6 |pages=53}} 10. ^{{cite book |last1=Le-Klähn |first1=Diem-Trinh |editor1=Stefan Gössling |editor2=Colin Michael Hall |editor3=Daniel Scott |title=The Routledge Handbook of Tourism and Sustainability |publisher=Routledge |isbn=978-0-415-66248-2 |pages=441}} 11. ^{{cite web |title=Discover the London’s Best Underground Sights - Fare Buzz |url=https://www.farebuzz.com/updates/discover-the-londons-best-underground-sights.aspx |website=www.farebuzz.com |accessdate=20 September 2018}} 12. ^{{Cite web|url=https://visitorshop.tfl.gov.uk/|title=Visitor tickets|last=|first=|date=|website=Transport for London|archive-url=|archive-date=|dead-url=|access-date=16 August 2018}} 13. ^{{Cite web|url=https://tfl.gov.uk/|title=Transport for London|last=|first=|date=|website=Transport for London|archive-url=|archive-date=|dead-url=|access-date=16 August 2018}} External links
