Between 1979 and 1986, PPF was served by Air Midwest operating under Eastern Airlines. The aircraft used was a 19-seat Swearingen Metroliner. Facilities and aircraftTri-City Airport covers an area of {{convert|802|acre|ha|lk=on}} at an elevation of 900 feet (274 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 17/35 with a concrete surface measuring 5,000 by 75 feet (1,524 x 23 m).[1] For the 12-month period ending July 3, 2008, the airport had 6,000 aircraft operations, an average of 16 per day: 92% general aviation, 5% air taxi and 3% military.
