The district has multiple campuses and offers full-time programs, part-time programs, and training programs for business and industry. It serves adult and secondary students from public school districts in Tulsa County, as well as private, parochial and home-schooled students. Tulsa Tech is accredited by the Board of the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technical Education, and also accredited where relevant by the specific industry standards associated with their industry.[1] HistoryThe oldest and largest technology center in Oklahoma’s Career Tech System, Tulsa Tech was founded in 1965 as part of Tulsa Public Schools. Tulsa Tech purchased its single campus (now the Lemley Campus) from Tulsa Public Schools and became an independent school district in 1973. In 1992, the school’s name was changed from Tulsa Vo-Tech to promote the type of career-focused training provided at the school’s campuses. CampusesSkyline EastPurchased in 1993 as part of a cooperative venture with Tulsa Community College, the Skyline East I Building houses the Superintendent’s Office, and various administrative services. The Eighth Floor, a partnership with Tulsa Community College, is a technology and learning center for educators. Superintendent and CEO: Dr. Steven Tiger Broken Arrow CampusEstablished in 1983, with renovations completed in January 2011, the Broken Arrow Campus in Broken Arrow, OK now has {{convert|362698|sqft|m2|adj=on}} of classrooms, laboratories and shops located on a {{convert|53|acre|m2|adj=on}} site. This campus includes meeting rooms for public use, with a 330-seat auditorium. Director: Brad Wayman Lemley CampusFounded in 1965, the Lemley Campus in Tulsa, Oklahoma is the original Tulsa Tech campus and the largest in the district, spanning approximately {{convert|40|acres|m2|adj=on}}.It has seven instructional buildings with {{convert|237604|sqft|m2}} of classrooms, laboratories and shops. Director: Randy Dean Health Science CenterOpened in Spring 2009 on the Lemley Campus, the Health Sciences Center in Tulsa is a {{convert|175831|sqft|m2|adj=on}} facility that contains classrooms, laboratories, and instructional medical resources. The campus also has rooms for public use, ranging up to 285 people. Director: Sam Ramsey Training CenterBusiness & Industry Services is located on the Lemley Campus in the Training Center. The department moved into the {{convert|50640|sqft|m2|adj=on}} facility in 1992. The Training Center has training rooms that will accommodate up to 50 people. Three rooms are dedicated computer labs, that will accommodate 8 to 12 people. There is also a Mobile Computer Lab, and three mobile classrooms. Director: Judy Elliott Career Services CenterThe Career Services Center on the Lemley Campus includes {{convert|42873|sqft|m2}} of space and houses the Student Services Department, Guidance and Assessment, High School and Adult Admissions, Internships & Placement Services and the Recruitment Office. The Center has an auditorium which will accommodate up to 600 people or may be sectioned off for smaller groups. Owasso CampusThis campus, in Owasso, Oklahoma and completed in the Fall of 2013, is a {{convert|255909|sqft|m2}} facility which will utilize wind, solar, geothermal and graywater methods to power the building, The {{convert|55|acre|m2|adj=on}} campus will house approximately 800 students, including students from Tulsa Community College, as well as host public meeting spaces in the attached Conference Center, with the ability to accommodate up to 1000 people. Director: Kent Inouye [2] Peoria CampusEstablished in 1976, with new buildings completed in early 1993, the Peoria Campus has {{convert|171470|sqft|m2}} of classrooms, laboratories and shops on a {{convert|17|acre|m2|adj=on}} site. It includes six meeting rooms for public use with a 320-seat auditorium. Director: Angela Evans Riverside CampusEstablished 1999, the Riverside Campus is located on a {{convert|38|acre|m2|adj=on}} site near the R.L. Jones Airport. It has {{convert|283000|sqft|m2}} of classrooms, laboratories, and shops. It also houses higher education partners including: OSU Center for Health Sciences, and Tulsa Community College Flight Center. The Riverside Campus includes three meeting rooms for public use with a 280-seat auditorium. Director: Brad Hanselman Sand Springs CampusOpened in the fall of 2013, the Sand Springs Campus is over {{convert|71000|sqft|m2}} on {{convert|6.61|acre|m2|adj=on}}, offering career majors in the areas of Graphics & Imaging, Cosmetology, Health Science Technology, Carpentry and a Construction & Design Academy.
