Since then, the company has established six core business units: Chemicals & plastics, specialty chemicals & products, cement, pharmaceuticals, machinery and metal products, energy and environment. The company is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchane and Fukuoka Stock Exchange, and is a constituent of the Nikkei 225 stock index.[3] Ube Industries is a member of the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFJ) keiretsu.
