Each of the nine counties of Ulster organise their county championship. Currently five of the nine county champions enter the Ulster Senior Club Championship in a straight knock-out format. The Ulster winners compete with the Connacht, Leinster, Munster and sometimes the London champions in the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship. Slaughtneil beat Loughgiel in the 2016 final. Finals Listed By Year- The winners are listed in bold if they also won the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship.
