释义 |
The Volvo Experimental Taxi was a concept car built by Volvo in 1976. It was designed to be Volvo's response to a challenge from the New York office of transport and the Museum of Modern Art.[1] The Taxi was powered by a six-cylinder diesel engine which drove the front wheels. It was also designed to be able to fit a wheelchair inside; however, it could not fit the wheelchair's occupant. Instead of seat belts, the passenger seating was provided with a roller-coaster style pull-down bar.[2] References1. ^{{cite web|title=Volvo Taxi Prototype|url=http://www.moma.org/docs/press_archives/5384/releases/MOMA_1976_0044_35a.pdf?2010|work=MOMA|accessdate=5 August 2013|year=1976}} 2. ^{{cite web|title=Gothenburg-a-Go-Go: Touring the Volvo Museum in Sweden|url=http://www.caranddriver.com/photos-media/452398/1976-volvo-experimental-taxi-long-before-nyc-approved-the-high-top-nissan-nv200-moma-commissioned-this-remarkably-similar-volvo-note-the-rollercoaster-style-padded-chest-bar-photo-452412|work=Car & Driver|accessdate=5 August 2013|date=13 April 2012}} See Also
