释义 |
Václav Junek (born June 17, 1951) is a Czech businessman. Junek was a chairman of bankrupt conglomerate Chemapol Group. Junek's company Chemapol Reality (C.H.R.) purchased from Václav Havel his 50 percent stake in a legendary dance-hall Lucerna Palace on Wenceslas Square for CZK 200 mio. It sold it two years later to Dagmar Havlová for CZK 145 mio. Later, the company went bankrupt.[1][2] In 1999 Junek publicly admitted Chemapol bribed the politicians of Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD). The ruling ČSSD politicians secretly used gas cards issued to name of Chemapol to get gas for free.[3] References1. ^Czech Radio, Spor o Lucernu nekončí, konkurzní správce však myslí na smír, 2005-11-02 (in Czech) {{Authority control}}{{DEFAULTSORT:Junek, Vaclav}}{{CzechRepublic-business-bio-stub}}2. ^Commercial register at justice.cz, identification number (IČ) 25056808, C.H.R., a.s., the company was registered on June 10, 1996, bankruptcy declared on January 31, 2001 3. ^{{cite news |url= http://carolina.cuni.cz/archive-en/Carolina-E-No-346.txt |title= Social Democrats Accused of Tax Evasion |work= Carolina |author= Ondrej Maly |author2=Zuzana Janeckova |date=1999-10-08 |issue=346 |accessdate=2010-01-12}} 3 : Czech businesspeople|1951 births|Living people |
