It is located in the Warner Mountains of south central Oregon. At one time the ski area was within the Fremont National Forest, but the land is now owned by Lake County. A land swap was completed between the USFS and Lake County in 1998.[3] It is located {{convert|4|mi|km|0}} northeast of Lakeview, a driving distance of {{convert|9.4|mi|km}}. There is one chair lift serving the hill, and the facilities are operated and maintained by the non-profit Fremont Highlander Ski Club. The lift is a triple chair, with two landings. Total vertical rise is {{convert|732|ft|m|0}}, with a 50/50 split between intermediate and advanced terrain.
