As of the 2010 census, its population was 4,395 and it contained 1,658 housing units.[1] Wheatfield Township was established in 1858.[2] GeographyAccording to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of {{convert|43.47|sqmi}}, of which {{convert|43.36|sqmi}} (or 99.75%) is land and {{convert|0.11|sqmi}} (or 0.25%) is water.[1] The stream of Delehanty Ditch runs through this township.
