Robinson swam in the men's 200-metre breaststroke, and came second for the silver medal with a time of 3:12.8.[1] He was 38 years old at the time of the 1908 Olympics, and was the oldest swimmer to win a medal in Olympic history for 100 years, until the 41-year-old American Dara Torres won three silver medals at the 2008 Olympics.[2] See also
