Yevpatoriis'ka mis'krada) is one of the 25 regions of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, a territory recognized by a majority of countries as part of Ukraine and incorporated by Russia as the Republic of Crimea. The region is located on the western coast of Crimea on the Black Sea's shore. Its administrative center is the city of Yevpatoria. Colloquially, the municipality is known as "the territory governed by the Yevpatoria City Council ({{lang-uk|Євпаторійська міська рада}}). HistoryThe Yevpatoria City Municipality was formed on February 11, 1963 when the territory of the Yevpatoria Raion was absorbed into the already existing Saky Raion. At that time, the Yevpatoria municipality was established with the city of Yevpatoria governing the territory.
