It is 19.2 rail kilometers from the Odakyu Odawara Line's terminus at Shinjuku Station. HistoryYomiuriland-mae Station opened as {{nihongo|Nishi-Ikuta Station|西生田駅|Nishi-Ikuta eki}} on April 1, 1927. It became a local stop in 1945, and was promoted to a “Semi-Express” stop in 1946, a “Sakura Semi-Express” stop in 1948, and “Commuter Special Express” stop in 1960.
