There were 714 pupils on roll at the school in 2016.[1] Its current headmistress is Mrs Ellen Williams.[2] According to the latest Estyn inspection report, 91% come from homes where Welsh is the main language, with 99% speaking it as a first language or to an equivalent standard.[3] Extra-curricular activities such as the annual Eisteddfod form an important aspect of school life.
