It is incorporated as a city of oblast significance. Population: {{Ua-pop-est2015|40,348}} Yuzhnoukrainsk NPP is located near the city of Yuzhnoukrainsk, approximately 350 kilometers (over 200 miles) south of the capital Kiev. This nuclear power station has three VVER-1000 reactors and a net achievement of 2,850 megawatts (MW). It is at present the second largest of the five nuclear power stations in the country.
