The village called Ölbronn has a population of 1575 and Dürrn 1782. The former municipality of Ölbronn was part of Württemberg, while Dürrn was part of Baden. Ölbronn is {{convert|13|km|mi}} away from the centre of Pforzheim. MayorNorbert Holme (* 1958 in Pforzheim) was elected in 2006 and reelected in 2014.
