The 1984 Women's EuroHockey Nations Championship was the first edition of the women's field hockey championship organised by the European Hockey Federation. It was held in Lille, France from May 3 to May 13, 1984. In the final the Netherlands defeated Soviet Union to clinch its first ever European title.
