The 2001 season was the 4th in franchise history and 3rd as the Rock. The Rock continued its dynasty on top of the NLL standings, finishing first in its division for the third straight year. The Rock beat the Washington Power in the semifinals, to advance to the championship game. However they lost to the Philadelphia Wings and failed in their attempt at three consecutive championships.[1] Regular seasonConference standings{{2001 NLL standings|team=TOR}}Game logReference:[2] {{NLLGameLog|arena_link=Air Canada Centre |game1_date=12/21/2000 |game1_opp_link=Ottawa Rebel |game1_team_score=17 |game1_opp_score=7 |game1_attendance=13333 |game2_date=12/31/2000 |game2_opp_link=Washington Power |game2_loc=MCI Center |game2_loc_link=Capital One Arena |game2_road_game=1 |game2_team_score=12 |game2_opp_score=13 |game2_attendance=1778 |game3_date=1/5/2001 |game3_opp_link=Ottawa Rebel |game3_loc=Corel Centre |game3_loc_link=Scotiabank Place |game3_road_game=1 |game3_team_score=16 |game3_opp_score=7 |game3_attendance=12193 |game4_date=1/11/2001 |game4_opp_link=Albany Attack |game4_team_score=7 |game4_opp_score=4 |game4_attendance=12222 |game5_date=1/26/2001 |game5_opp_link=Washington Power |game5_team_score=13 |game5_opp_score=16 |game5_attendance=16373 |game6_date=1/27/2001 |game6_opp_link=Buffalo Bandits |game6_loc=HSBC Arena |game6_loc_link=First Niagara Center |game6_road_game=1 |game6_team_score=14 |game6_opp_score=13 |game6_ot=2 |game6_attendance=8452 |game7_date=2/3/2001 |game7_opp_link=New York Saints |game7_loc_link=Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum |game7_road_game=1 |game7_team_score=14 |game7_opp_score=9 |game7_attendance=7638 |game8_date=2/9/2001 |game8_opp_link=Philadelphia Wings (1987–2014) |game8_team_score=17 |game8_opp_score=11 |game8_attendance=15497 |game9_date=2/17/2001 |game9_opp_link=Rochester Knighthawks |game9_loc_link=Blue Cross Arena |game9_road_game=1 |game9_team_score=7 |game9_opp_score=12 |game9_attendance=9361 |game10_date=2/25/2001 |game10_opp_link=New York Saints |game10_team_score=10 |game10_opp_score=9 |game10_ot=1 |game10_attendance=17059 |game11_date=3/10/2001 |game11_opp_link=Philadelphia Wings (1987–2014) |game11_loc=First Union Center |game11_loc_link=Wells Fargo Center (Philadelphia) |game11_road_game=1 |game11_team_score=11 |game11_opp_score=7 |game11_attendance=13485 |game12_date=3/16/2001 |game12_opp_link=Columbus Landsharks |game12_loc_link=Nationwide Arena |game12_road_game=1 |game12_team_score=8 |game12_opp_score=5 |game12_attendance=5120 |game13_date=3/31/2001 |game13_opp_link=Columbus Landsharks |game13_team_score=11 |game13_opp_score=8 |game13_attendance=19059 |game14_date=4/5/2001 |game14_opp_link=Rochester Knighthawks |game14_team_score=11 |game14_opp_score=4 |game14_attendance=16700 }} PlayoffsGame logReference:[3] {{NLLGameLog|arena_link=Air Canada Centre |game1_num=Semifinals |game1_date=4/21/2001 |game1_opp_link=Washington Power |game1_team_score=10 |game1_opp_score=9 |game1_attendance=15831 |game2_num=Championship Game |game2_date=4/27/2001 |game2_opp_link=Philadelphia Wings (1987–2014) |game2_team_score=8 |game2_opp_score=9 |game2_attendance=19409 }} Player statsRunners (Top 10)Note: GP = Games played; G = Goals; A = Assists; Pts = Points; LB = Loose Balls; PIM = Penalty Minutes[4]
