A total of 152 athletes, 91 men and 61 women, from 55 countries took part. Detailed reports on the event and an appraisal of the results were given both for the men's race[1][2] and for the women's race.[3][4] Complete results were published[5] for the men's race,[6][7] for the women's race,[8][9] for men's team,[10][11] and for women's team.[12][13] The competition also incorporated the 1st Asian Half Marathon Championships.
