This enzyme belongs to the family of hydrolases, specifically those glycosidases that hydrolyse O- and S-glycosyl compounds. The systematic name of this enzyme class is 3-deoxyoctulosonyl-lipopolysaccharide hydrolase. This enzyme is also called alpha-Kdo-ase. References
