Description

The aircraft was en route from Quatro de Fevereiro Airport to Malabo International Airport, when it struck a mountain {{convert|750|m}} high at Bioko, Equatorial Guinea. Initial reports claiming that there were 46 people aboard were later confirmed, with the aircraft actually having 42 passengers and a crew of four on board; all of them perished in the accident.[3][4]

Investigation

The cause of the accident could not be determined, but the investigation commission suspected that a possible failure of the MSRP-12 radar on the aircraft may have led the crew to be unaware of their position.
