释义 |
Not to be confused with the Afon Marlais which is a tributary of the River Tâf nor the Afon Marlas, a tributary of the River Loughor. The Afon Marlais is a right-bank tributary of the Afon Cothi in Carmarthenshire, West Wales. It rises on the slopes of Mynydd Llanfihangel-rhos-y-corn and Mynydd Tre-beddau and flows south-eastwards through Brechfa Forest before reaching the village of Brechfa. After a further kilometre it joins the Cothi immediately downstream of Pont Ynys-Brechfa.[1] References1. ^{{cite map| publisher = Ordnance Survey| title = 186: Llandeilo & Brechfa Forest| series = Explorer Series| scale = 1 : 25,000}} {{coord|51.9493|-4.1328|display=title}}{{Carmarthenshire-geo-stub}}{{Wales-river-stub}} 1 : Rivers of Carmarthenshire |
